At New Paths Nutrition, we are passionate about eating disorder care and we know how hard recovery can be. Even with the best support team, you may only be getting a few hours of support each week! This is why we offer groups. Groups provide another touchpoint of care, foster community, and provide a comfortable space to explore what's on your mind. Groups are hosted virtually and we meet via a secure platform.

Our group offerings rotate based on our client population needs and interest, and we are always open to ideas of what could be helpful! If you're looking for a dietitian-led eating disorder support group or meal support, please fill out our contact form to get in touch. Please also indicate in your message if you are looking for individual and group support. We will be happy to onboard you and plug you into the support you are looking for!

Upcoming group offering: Meal prep group

Details: Begins in April 2026, weekly, 1 hour long group, led by Lindsay. Commit a month at a time, jump in and out of group any month that works for you

Day and time of group is being decided based on availability of those interested

This group is a supportive space for folks healing their relationship with food who need some support with food prep. Wherever you are in your journey to recovery from disordered eating or an eating disorder - you are welcome and we will be sure to make this a trigger-free zone, a place to talk about food in a positive and helpful way.

 

The aim is to provide time and space to prepare food ahead of time to help nourish you during the week. This could look like making oatmeal batches for the week, making chili to have on hand all week, chopping veggies for dinners, or really anything that will help you take care of yourself and make cooking/eating easier later on.

The group will be an hour long each week:

  • Initial session: meet & get to know each other, set intentions for the coming weeks and discuss preferences for communicating during group (on mute, chatting while you work, etc)

  • Following sessions: log on and meal prep! Lindsay will ask everyone at the beginning of the group to check in and share they want to accomplish during the hour, then be there to chat and support along the way, answer any questions and brainstorm ideas as needed

The cost is $40 per group and can be billed to insurance if you have BCBS, UHC, or Aetna.
